The Role and The Place of Number Forty in Koranic Verses and in Islamic Traditions

Number “forty”, in the course of time, has had a special place in different religions and creeds. But what seems to be important is that number “forty” has repeatedly been appeared in the verses of the Koran as well as the words of innocent Imams whose sayings have been the saviour of Man; sayings which have been directing Men to salvation; sayings which have been giving trust and confidence.
